National Museum of Dance Presents:
School of the Arts Summer Intensive
with Former NYCB Principal Dancer Miranda Weese and Friends
The National Museum of Dance’s School of the Arts (SOA) is excited to announce that for the first time ever, aspiring young dancers will have the opportunity to participate in the SOA’s very own summer dance intensive! This exclusively Saratoga-based intensive dance program will be led by former New York City Ballet principal dancer, Miranda Weese, accompanied by a local faculty with professional international experience. This is a wonderful option for intermediate and advanced students during the end of August; whether you are a dancer looking for something to complement and continue another intensive or just want to stay local! The SOA Intensive will be held from Monday, August 18 through Sunday, August 24 daily from 9:00-5:00pm.
For the great price of $700, dancers from ages 12 to 23 with a minimum of five years of dance experience can train with top-notch instructors in an intensive local environment for seven days, eight hours a day! Dance classes will include technique, pointe, repertory, fitness dance, flamenco, Broadway jazz, modern, hip hop, etc.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 2:30pm.
No audition fee required. Enrollment is limited, so hurry and register! If you are from out of town, host families may be available per request.
