Yoga & creative movement for 3 to 5 year olds! This class will include a
series of Yoga poses geared for children such as the Cobra, Lion and Flamingo to
promote strength, flexibility, focus and creativity! This class will bring fun,
laughter and the pure joy of movement to young children. Classes are taught by
Peg Clark, an Occupational Therapy Assistant and Yoga Instructor.

Art in the Foyer is an annually rotating series that welcomes dance inspired fine
art from artists across the nation. The 2012 season will feature work by
Christopher Duggan, a resident photographer at the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival.
Join us this evening for the opening reception of the exhibit and take the opportunity
to meet and speak with Christopher himself. Wine & light hors d'oeuvres will

This program ties in with one of our newest exhibits, En Pointe!, which explores
the history, myths, and reality behind pointe shoes. See how pointe shoes are made!

National Dance Day is back and will include an all afternoon dance celebration
event with choreography for different levels of expertise making it possible for
people of all ages and dance backgrounds to participate, along with a special
program for children in our Alfred Z. Solomon Children's Wing.
The Saratoga Regional YMCA's will all be joining the National Museum of Dance
to celebrate National Dance Day.

levels... learn it and join in! We will also be teaching the dances on National Dance
Day at the Museum on July 29.
